Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification required
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience working with students on IEPs is highly valued
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and district mandates for special education
- Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management services for students with IEPs
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all special education regulations
- Deliver targeted instruction based on students' IEP goals
- Develop and implement a full continuum of services and supports
- Keep meticulous records to document student progress and compliance
- Participate in the RtI (Response to Intervention) process
- Communicate regularly and proactively with parents and guardians
- Provide behavioral support and implement Behavior Intervention Plans
- Collaborate with staff to deliver accommodations and modifications in the school setting
- Foster a safe, nurturing learning environment
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
