Caseloads vary from inclusion classrooms to specialized settings (SUCCESS, Practical, CBT, STRIVE), allowing you to match your strengths with student needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Arizona Standard Secondary Teaching License
  • Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Direct experience supporting students with emotional or behavioral needs
  • Demonstrated understanding of the unique needs of at-risk, ethnically diverse, and limited English proficient students
  • Familiarity or willingness to complete E.E.E.I. (Essential Element of Effective Instruction) training
  • Strong background in implementing and documenting federally and state-compliant special services

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Build a rapport with students, leveraging proven strategies for social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
  • Accurately maintain all documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in CIE staff development and ongoing professional training
