A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the current school year in a K-12 public school setting located in Glendale, AZ. This contract role focuses on serving high school students in an autism self-contained classroom.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with autism and other disabilities.
• Delivering specialized instruction and support in a self-contained classroom environment.
• Collaborating with support staff, families, and therapists to ensure a comprehensive educational experience.
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records aligned with district and state standards.
• Managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
