This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 31st, 2026, through June 17th, 2026, with some potential pre- and post-planning days. Youll be responsible for supporting children in grades 1st through 4th in a resource classroom with occasional push-in services as needed. The total caseload is distributed among three case managers, each overseeing approximately 15-20 students, ensuring manageability and attention to individual needs. This position specifically focuses on 1st4th graders, with the Kindergarten group already assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Educator Teaching Certification
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher with students in grades 14
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with 1:1 paraprofessionals and behavior analysts
- Commitment to fostering growth and academic progress in a diverse learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver personalized instruction within a resource room setting, occasionally pushing into general education spaces
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Work closely with colleagues, families, and specialists to ensure holistic support for each student
