Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Washington Special Education (SPED) credential required
• Proven experience teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs in special education settings
• Deep understanding of IEP implementation and compliance, with familiarity using digital IEP management systems (training provided)
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate effectively with teams, families, and administrators
• Organizational expertise to manage caseloads across K4th ACCESS classrooms

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) for K4th grade students
• Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain timely communication with parents and multidisciplinary teams
• Support program goals by traveling between school sites within the district, ensuring continuity and quality of services
• Engage in paid team meetings and administrative hours as part of your regular responsibilities
• Collaborate with the districts supportive leadership, benefiting from professional training and mentoring as needed
