This full-semester special education teaching opportunity is based onsite in Gastonia, NC, serving a diverse K-12 caseload within an engaging school environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the learning goals and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) of students across K-12
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Monitor and document student progress, adapting instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and school policies related to special education services
• Attend meetings and professional development sessions to stay current on best practices

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
• Submission of official transcripts is mandatory for consideration
• Experience working with a diverse student population across K-12 grade levels preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills necessary for engage effectively with students, families, and staff

Schedule and Location:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week onsite position
• Located in Gastonia, NC
• Contract duration of one full semester
