An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic school setting. This full-semester contract position is based onsite in Gastonia, NC, providing a structured environment to make a meaningful impact in students educational journeys.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs across K-12 grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students goals and requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure integrated learning experiences
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular meetings and evaluations
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that meets the developmental and academic needs of all students

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Special Education teaching license (required)
• Submission of official transcripts demonstrating relevant educational background
• Experience working with a diverse caseload of special education students preferred
