Key Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education certification (active or pending)
• Experience working in resource or inclusion settings is preferred
• Strong skills in instructional planning and adapting lessons to individual needs
• Ability to develop positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
• Demonstrated capacity to support students academically and behaviorally

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction in reading, math, and other core subjects in both push-in and pull-out models
• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students unique learning goals
• Track and document student progress, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations
• Partner with general education and special education team members to ensure effective classroom support
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and ensuring documentation accuracy
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom culture
