This full-time, school-based contract role focuses on delivering targeted instruction and consistent academic support for students in grades 68. Anchored in both push-in and pull-out environments, your efforts will help ensure all learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the 20262027 school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing resource support in reading, math, and core academic subjects to help students reach their full potential
• Developing and executing individualized instruction, tailored to each students IEP goals
• Collaborating with general education teachers in co-teaching and consultation models
• Monitoring student progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating results effectively
• Participating in IEP meetings and assisting in necessary documentation for compliance
• Working closely with both general and special education teams to deliver a cohesive support system

Qualifications desired:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching certification, or eligibility for certification
• Background or experience in resource or inclusion classroom settings
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators and communicate clearly with families, colleagues, and students
• Strong instructional skills and a supportive approach to the academic and behavioral needs of middle school students
