Special Education Teacher needed in Fryeburg, ME!
We are actively seeking a Special Education Teacher for an on-site, elementary resource room position. This is a great opportunity to work with students in a supportive environment and make a meaningful impact both this school year and next.
Position Details
- Start: ASAP June (with potential to continue into next school year)
- Schedule: Full-Time, 3035 hours per week
- Setting: Elementary school
Role Overview
- Provide support in a resource room setting

Work with students with mild to moderate needs, including:
- Learning disabilities
- Social development needs
- Minor behavioral needs
- Deliver individualized instruction and support aligned with IEPs
Requirements
- Active Maine Special Education Certification
- Previous experience working with elementary students preferred
- Ability to work onsite
Interview & Onboarding
- Interview Format: Zoom
- Timeline: Interviews and decisions moving ASAP
- Fingerprinting is required prior to starting
