Openings include:

• Math Resource Teacher (requires active Special Education and Math certifications)
• Academic Vocational Life Skills Teacher (requires active Special Education and Core Content certifications)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction, ensuring a supportive learning environment tailored to students unique needs
• Modify curriculum and learning materials to accommodate various abilities and learning styles
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families on IEP development and implementation
• Track student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize learning
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that motivates students to reach their academic and life skills goals

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas certification(s) for Special Education and content area as listed per role
• Demonstrated experience teaching in Special Education at the high school level
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and engage with students, staff, and families
• Proficiency with IEPs and accommodating various learning needs
