Desired Background & Qualifications:

• Current teaching certification with Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience working with diverse student populations across K12, including Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school environments
• Solid foundation in teaching Math, comfortable facilitating lessons from foundational concepts through advanced topics
• Strong classroom management and inclusive instructional strategies
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Passion for individualized instruction and a commitment to supporting students unique learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement IEPs tailored to students academic and social-emotional needs across multiple grade levels
• Deliver engaging Math instruction to students in both group and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and support staff to promote an inclusive learning environment
• Assess student progress, adjusting instructional approach as necessary to ensure success
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation and communication with families regarding student progress
• Participate in professional development and team meetings to remain current with best practices
