Qualifications and Experience:

  • State certification or licensure in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience teaching students with diverse learning needs preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Well-versed in adapting curriculum and instructional methods
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Positive approach to collaboration with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized instruction based on each students IEP
  • Assess student progress and modify teaching strategies as needed
  • Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to foster student success
  • Document academic and behavioral data, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
