This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher working with 2nd and 3rd-grade students in Worcester, MA. This contract role involves supporting a caseload of 12-15 students, providing tailored instruction and interventions to meet each student's unique learning needs. The position requires a Massachusetts Special Education Teaching license valid for grades 2-3, ensuring candidates are well-prepared to deliver specialized education within this age group.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching license for grades 2-3
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in grades 2 and 3
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions in accordance with students IEPs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records for reporting
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom environments
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Manage a caseload of 12-15 students, adapting strategies to meet diverse learning/behavioral needs
