A K-12 school in Framingham, MA is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a contract position covering the current school year (CSY). This role supports the educational development and individualized learning needs of students with disabilities across grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet students unique learning requirements.
• Deliver specialized instruction and interventions for students with diverse disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to provide a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
• Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for the grade levels served (K-12).
• Experience working with students who have various disabilities in an inclusive or self-contained classroom setting.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school staff.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
