Job Description

A Special Education teaching opportunity is available in Framingham, MA, for the upcoming school year under a contract arrangement. This position offers a dedicated teaching role focused on supporting students with special needs within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including paraeducators and other support staff, to facilitate student progress.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through observation, testing, and documentation.
  • Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, guardians, and school personnel regarding student development and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification.
  • Experience working with children in special education settings.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional strategies for diverse learners.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
