Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential/license (state-specific requirements apply)
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and legal requirements for special education services
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with a range of abilities and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction to students with identified disabilities in accordance with IEP goals
• Develop and implement lesson plans and strategies that address both academic and behavioral needs
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records and compliance
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress evaluations, and professional development as required
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported and challenged
