Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage both elementary and high school caseloads
- Strong classroom management and individualized instructional skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Passionate about fostering academic and personal growth for students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and needs
- Adapt and deliver instructional material for a range of abilities and learning styles within elementary and high school levels
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and other professionals to maximize student achievement
- Monitor and document student progress, modifying strategies as necessary
- Engage in ongoing parent and guardian communication regarding student milestones and support strategies
- Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and all scheduled program activities
