Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Special Education Certification covering assigned grade levels.
  • Content Area/Generalist Certification for grades K5 required.
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adaptability and a student-centered approach to learning.

Role Overview:

  • Full-time contract role serving elementary-aged learners.
  • Manage a resource caseload with a mix of push-in and pullout service delivery.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to provide support and accommodations.
  • Write, update, and carry out IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
  • Monitor and report student progress toward academic, social, and behavioral goals.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom culture.
  • Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding student growth.
