What Youll Do:
- Design and adapt lesson plans tailored to the unique strengths and needs of students with disabilities
- Guide and facilitate IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings, ensuring plans are developed, implemented, and updated in partnership with families and school teams
- Collaborate daily with general educators, paraeducators, therapists, and parents to promote inclusion and consistency
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for student progress, accommodations, and modifications
- Implement effective classroom management strategies while providing emotional support
- Stay updated with best practices and engage in ongoing professional development
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current and valid Indiana Certification in Special Education
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with a diverse student population
- Passion for nurturing academic, emotional, and social growth in students
- Skilled in communication, organization, and team collaboration
- Must be able to work on site for the full duration of the contract
