Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching license or certification in Special Education for the state
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or related field
• Previous classroom experience in Special Education preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to tailor instruction for a wide range of learning abilities and styles
• Comfortable working collaboratively with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each students Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Assess student progress and adjust strategies as needed to meet educational goals
• Maintain accurate records of student development, goals, and accommodations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to provide holistic support
• Create an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment where every student feels valued
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
• Uphold compliance with all school policies and special education regulations
