We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district in Georgetown, KY for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, student-centered environment.
Position Details:
- Full-time, school-based role
- K12 caseload (based on experience and preference)
- 20262027 school year
- Strong support from district staff and administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage IEPs
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction
- Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and families
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
- Active Kentucky Special Education certification (or ability to obtain)
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
