We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school district in Florence, KY for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working within a collaborative and student-focused environment.
Position Details:
- Full-time, school-based role
- K12 caseload (assignment based on experience and preference)
- 20262027 school year
- Structured support from district staff and administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
- Active Kentucky Special Education certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
