Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) implementation and development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective partnership with staff and families
- Adaptability and creativity in differentiating instruction
- Familiarity with a range of learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and support strategies
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each students needs and goals
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and required reports
- Participate in professional development and school meetings to further enhance teaching practices
