Job Description

Special Education Teacher Position (Part-Time, Potential for Full-Time)

Start Date: ASAP - May 28th, 2025 (Possibility of continuing into the first semester of the next school year)
Hours per Week: Initially part-time at 20 hours (4 hours per day); full-time hours available for interested candidates
Caseload:

  • Primary: 1:1 academic tutoring with a 9th-grade student (16 years old)
  • Reading level: 2nd to 3rd grade
  • Additional students may be serviced if the candidate desires full-time work

Job Details:

  • Focus on intense academic support
  • The opportunity to expand caseload with full-time hours if desired

Special Requirements:

  • Special Education license is required
  • Preferred background in Early Childhood Education
