An exciting opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support 2nd and 3rd grade students in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. This contract position offers a consistent five-day workweek and the chance to work closely with a small caseload of 1215 students, delivering meaningful, individualized instruction in a supportive classroom setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license covering grades 23 (required)
- Experience working with elementary students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong classroom management skills and a collaborative approach with staff and families
Position Details:
- Location: Fitchburg, MA
- Contract role with 32.5 hours per week
- Schedule: 5 days per week
- Caseload: 1215 students in grades 23
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver specialized instruction aligned with students IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance and effective reporting

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
