Job Description

As the lead teacher for the TLC program, youll play a key role in designing classroom strategies, monitoring student progress, and sharing insights with both faculty and families.

Qualifications:

  • Current MA Special Education Teacher licensure
  • Experience working with middle school students preferred
  • Proven background designing and implementing IEPs
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead instruction and management of the TLC program classroom
  • Develop individualized education plans and track student progress toward goals
  • Provide differentiated instruction and behavioral support based on student needs
  • Maintain ongoing communication with parents, staff, and related service providers
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and self-advocacy
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program
