Job Description
An Intensive Special Education Teacher position is available to support a small caseload of students with significant disabilities in a substantially separate classroom. This role requires expertise in delivering individualized instruction and managing complex medical and physical needs, serving students with multiple disabilities including seizure disorders, visual impairments, and intellectual disabilities.

Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 2026
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:10 AM3:05 PM
Grade Levels: 36
Student Caseload: 8 students in an intensive special education setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highly individualized instruction aligned with each students IEP goals
- Support students with complex medical and physical needs in close collaboration with support staff
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and ensure IEP compliance
- Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals and related service providers to maintain appropriate educational supports
Qualifications and Experience:
- Massachusetts DESE Special Education license required
- Severe Disabilities (PreK8) licensure preferred
- Strong background in severe disabilities and individualized education
- Experience working with students with multiple and complex disabilities
