What Were Looking For:
- Valid Indiana state teaching license for Mild to Moderate (K-12) Special Education
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher, Licensed Teacher of Record, or closely related roles
- Familiarity supporting students in varied caseloads: Special Education classrooms, Inclusion, Resource, and Autism
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Commitment to meeting the diverse needs of learners and advocating for inclusive education
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction in accordance with IEP goals and state guidelines
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to maximize student success
- Develop engaging lesson plans using evidence-based instructional strategies
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation
