Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current state certification or eligibility as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience supporting students in resource classrooms, particularly at the middle school level

• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
• Provide targeted instruction and interventions in alignment with each learners IEP goals
• Foster academic, social, and emotional growth through differentiated teaching strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success across settings
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Act as a resource and advocate for students, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations and supports
