Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Special Education Teacher License
- Experience in K-12 special education classrooms preferred
- Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills

- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support for a caseload of 15-20 students with diverse learning needs, in both co-taught and resource room settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) to ensure legal compliance and instructional effectiveness
- Work closely with general education teachers to foster inclusive practices and team-teaching opportunities
- Use data-driven approaches to adapt instruction and interventions to student needs
- Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
- Advocate for students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth, promoting their full participation in the school community
