Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Teacher License

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support for a caseload of 15-20 students with diverse learning needs, in both co-taught and resource room settings
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) to ensure legal compliance and instructional effectiveness
• Work closely with general education teachers to foster inclusive practices and team-teaching opportunities
• Use data-driven approaches to adapt instruction and interventions to student needs
• Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
• Advocate for students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth, promoting their full participation in the school community
