Qualifications & Ideal Experience:

• Active Special Education teaching credential appropriate for the grade levels served
• Experience or training in instructing a wide range of grades, from Early Childhood through Grade 12
• Solid foundation in delivering differentiated instruction, especially in Math
• Familiarity with crafting and implementing IEPs and behavior intervention plans
• Comfortable adapting strategies for general education and resource room settings
• Strong communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to cultivate an inclusive and engaging classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized and group instruction to meet students diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers to develop effective accommodations and modifications
• Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly update IEP documentation
• Employ evidence-based approaches to support social-emotional and academic growth
• Facilitate positive communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as needed
