What Youll Bring:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education, with credentials appropriate for Kindergarten through 12th Grade
- Demonstrated experience teaching students in multiple grade bands (Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, or High School)
- Strong understanding of curriculum modifications, IEPs, and inclusive teaching strategies
- Comfort supporting instruction in Math and other core subjects as needed
- Excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, and families
- Ability to create nurturing learning environments and maintain classroom structure
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Develop, review, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with faculty and families
- Modify curriculum and materials to support access and success for all learners
- Track student progress and provide timely feedback
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages growth and confidence
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and ongoing communication with stakeholders
