This pivotal position offers the chance to work within a supportive elementary environment, empowering students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. The assignment begins August 24, 2026, and runs through May 21, 2027, with a consistent, full-time weekday schedule of 37.5 hours per week all within a single elementary school setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored ASD programming and create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collect, analyze, and use student data to inform and adapt instructional strategies.
- Maintain accurate and thorough programming documentation as required by school guidelines.
- Incorporate assistive technology and communication devices to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Benefit from paid time allotted for indirect tasks and administrative responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Missouri Special Education (SPED) teaching credentials are required.
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum preferred.
- Completion of required fingerprinting and background checks.
- Confidence with assistive technology supports is a plus.
