Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. This full-time role focuses on creating inclusive, engaging, and individualized learning experiences that help students thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
