Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) session from June 1st to June 25th! This part-time contract position offers half-day hours, working from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday, conveniently allowing for personal or professional commitments in the afternoons.
Youll work closely with students in an engaging, supportive environment. The district values collaborative approaches and is eager to welcome new team members. Interviews are scheduled to begin soon, making this a great chance to put your passion for individual learning differences into action right away.
What We're Looking For:
- Current CDE SSP licensure required
- Experience working with elementary-age students in special education
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies for diverse learning needs
- Communication skills to collaborate with families and colleagues
- Willingness to work on-site during ESY
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Foster a supportive, engaging classroom during ESY
- Participate in staff meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Work collaboratively with other educators and support staff
- Engage positively with families and the school community
