Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education required
• Active New Mexico Special Education Teacher certification
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction aligned to students IEP goals, taking a student-centered approach for optimal growth
• Foster a structured, engaging, and positive classroom environment that supports both academic and behavioral achievement
• Implement evidence-based teaching and behavior management strategies, adapting to meet individual learning needs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, administrative staff, and families to support holistic student success
• Be diligent in tracking student progress, maintaining comprehensive documentation in adherence to all state and federal requirements
• Take an active role in IEP meetings, contribute to evaluations, and provide thorough progress updates
