Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Special Education
  • Experience working with diverse student populations across multiple grade levels (Pre-K through 12th)
  • Strong instructional background in Math
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Compassionate, patient, and collaborative approach with students, families, and educational teams
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt and implement specialized curriculum for students with a range of learning needs across grade levels
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals
  • Monitor student progress, document achievements, and adjust instruction as necessary
