Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with special education endorsement
• Experience teaching in elementary, middle, or high school settings (K-12, including early childhood and pre-kindergarten)
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
• Experience or demonstrated skill in teaching math and adapting curriculum for diverse learners
• Exceptional communication and classroom management abilities
• Collaborative, flexible approach to partnering with teachers, administrators, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with a variety of learning needs, from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with all regulations
• Adapt math and general curriculum content to meet individual student goals
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with parents, caregivers, and educational teams
• Track student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting as required
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement
