Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Special Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations across multiple grade levels (Pre-K through 12th)
- Strong instructional background in Math
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Compassionate, patient, and collaborative approach with students, families, and educational teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt and implement specialized curriculum for students with a range of learning needs across grade levels
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals
- Monitor student progress, document achievements, and adjust instruction as necessary
- Use effective interventions and modifications to facilitate academic and social-emotional growth
- Engage with parents, support staff, and administrators to ensure optimal student outcomes
