Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a school district in Englewood, Colorado to hire a passionate Special Education Teacher for an elementary caseload. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy creating inclusive learning environments and helping students reach their academic and social goals.

Position Details

  • Caseload: Elementary
  • Schedule: Full-Time
  • Contract Dates: ASAP - May 27

Required Qualifications

  • Active Colorado Special Education Teaching License
  • Strong understanding of special education regulations and IEP processes
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide direct special education instruction
  • Support academic and behavioral success for students
  • Conduct assessments and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support teams
  • Maintain compliance with state and district requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Special Education or related field
  • Prior experience in educational settings preferred
  • Elementary special education experience is a plus
