Job Description

A local school district in Englewood, CO is hiring a Special Education Teacher for an elementary school assignment. This full-time position offers the chance to support student growth through individualized instruction and collaborative educational planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Colorado Special Education License

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver special education services to elementary students

  • Implement accommodations and modifications
  • Communicate regularly with families and school teams
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports

Preferred Experience

  • School-based special education experience
  • Elementary classroom experience
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary educational teams

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
  • Active Colorado SPED License
