The setting offers a four-day workweekTuesday through Fridaywith full days from 7:15am to 4pm, allowing you to enjoy three-day weekends throughout the school year. Youll be assigned to one school, giving you the chance to build lasting relationships with your students and colleagues. The district will provide support staff, and youll be working alongside passionate, like-minded professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher license for the state of Colorado
  • Experience managing K-12 caseloads
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Capacity to adapt instructional methods to diverse learner needs
  • Dedication to supporting students social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance

Role Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement individualized education plans
  • Adapt curriculum and modify instruction to meet students' needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment
  • Track and report student progress toward IEP goals
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
