A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Englewood, CO, supporting students with diverse learning needs in a dedicated special education classroom. This role focuses on providing direct instructional services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring that each student receives tailored educational support. The position requires someone experienced in managing mid-year case transitions smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized instruction to students based on their IEP goals.
- Developing, reviewing, and updating IEPs according to scheduled timelines.
- Managing case-related responsibilities, including coordination with families and staff.
- Collaborating closely with the educational team to support student success.
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid Colorado Special Education Certification.
- Secondary Skills Provider (SSP) certification.
- Proven experience working in special education settings, with the ability to take over cases mid-year.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage case load effectively.
- Commitment to supporting students' individual learning plans and progress monitoring.
This full-time position requires onsite work, engaging closely with students in the classroom environment for approximately 35 hours per week.
