Qualifications:
- Current and active Ohio Intervention Specialist license is required
- Prior experience teaching or supporting students in a special education setting strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet a range of academic and social-emotional needs
- Collaborative mindsetready to work closely with school staff, families, and related service providers
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with students across elementary, middle, or high school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized lesson plans and interventions tailored to student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track and assess student progress, modifying instruction as needed
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive classroom experiences
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning atmosphere
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Engage with parents and caregivers to ensure ongoing support for student growth
