Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active Ohio Intervention Specialist license required
• Experience teaching at elementary, middle, or high school levels
• Understanding of IEP development, documentation, and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive classroom environment
• Organizational skills to manage paperwork and student documentation efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on IEPs
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet each student's needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
• Monitor and report students progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster an environment that encourages positive behavior and academic engagement
• Utilize various techniques, technologies, and resources to support differentiated learning
