Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred

• Thorough knowledge of IEP development and implementation

What Youll Do:

• Deliver specialized instruction to K-3 students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess students academic and social needs, and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages learning and inclusion
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, other special educators, and student support teams
• Communicate clearly with families regarding student goals, progress, and challenges
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school, district, and state requirements
• Support students social and emotional growth alongside academic achievement
