This full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is based in a K-6th grade ABLE classroom within an elementary school setting in Eloy, AZ. The position is offered as a contract covering the current school year, with an anticipated start at the beginning of April and the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and significant behavioral challenges.
• Managing a classroom of 6-7 students supported by 4 aides to ensure effective learning and safety.
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborating closely with support staff, families, and administration to promote student growth.

Qualifications desired:

• Valid Special Education certification appropriate for K-6 grades.
• Active IVP fingerprint clearance card.
• Experience working with students requiring moderate to severe special education support.
• Ability to manage behavior interventions and foster a positive classroom environment.
