A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Eloy, AZ, within an elementary school setting. This contract position offers a chance to work with a diverse caseload in a supportive educational environment, tailored to meet the individual needs of students requiring special education services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to a classroom of 14 students with the assistance of 8 aides.
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to accommodate varying learning needs.
• Collaborate with support staff and general education teachers to promote student success.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and school administration.
• Support the educational development of students across multiple categories as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Cross-Categorical (Cross-Cat) Special Education certification is required.
• Experience working within an elementary school caseload preferred.
• Ability to manage and support a classroom environment with multiple aides.
• Active IVP fingerprint clearance card is mandatory.
• Flexibility to serve as a floater/substitute with assignment end dates to be determined.
