Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Ellington, CT, serving high school students in a resource and inclusion setting. This role requires a Connecticut Special Education Teacher certification and involves working five days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological services and assessments to support high school students with special education needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Manage a caseload of students requiring resource and inclusion support
- Utilize data and observations to guide student interventions and track progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall student success
Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with high school age students in special education settings
- Strong knowledge of resource and inclusion strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain detailed records
