Qualifications:

• Active Nevada special education teaching license required
• Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students with special needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators, parents, and support staff
• Flexible and adaptable to changing student needs and educational environments

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
• Provide direct instruction and support in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional areas
• Assess students progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal standards
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and specialists to optimize student success
• Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and goals
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment fostering growth and confidence
