Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
- Experience with elementary-level special education caseloads strongly preferred
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Passion for differentiated instruction and student inclusion
- Ability to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Up-to-date resume and MN Teaching Certification required for consideration
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a caseload of elementary special education students in a resource classroom
- Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to support student growth
- Implement behavior management strategies to create a supportive classroom climate
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain compliance with all documentation, reporting, and state/district requirements
Youll contribute to a nurturing, project-based learning community, empowering students to build foundational skills for future academic success. Workdays are Monday through Friday, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.
