Step into an exciting opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting students with Emotional Behavior Disorders in a vibrant elementary school setting. Located near Elk River, MN, this contract position runs from September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) with a Monday through Friday schedule. The school specializes in innovative STEM education, with elementary students engaged in mathematics, science, and children's engineering through dynamic, hands-on programs.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
• Experience teaching students with emotional and behavioral disorders
• Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Ability to collaborate with support staff, families, and administration
• Enthusiasm for integrating STEM concepts into the classroom
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Resume and MN Teaching Certification must be submitted for consideration

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students in a center-based Emotional Behavior Disorder program
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapy staff
• Support student growth in both academic and social-emotional domains
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Utilize STEM resources and schoolwide programs to enhance student engagement
